Power Quality Control Scheme for Building Distribution System

Project Introduction

There is a 2000kVA transformer in the distribution room of a commercial complex. The compensation cabinet adopts traditional capacitor cabinet, which often has problems such as bulging and liquid leakage. It has not been replaced in time for several times and was fined by the power supply bureau that month. After testing the power quality of the distribution system, it is found that the power factor of the system is about 0.74 and the harmonic wave of the system is relatively large.

Project Scheme

In view of the above problems, we have replaced the original capacitor cabinet with a hybrid power quality comprehensive treatment device. It is a brand-new intelligent compensation device, which can solve the problems of reactive power, harmonic wave and three-phase imbalance in low-voltage distribution network through the combination of advanced power electronic technology and capacitance, and can completely replace the traditional capacitor compensation cabinet. Waveform and power factor after treatment

      It can be seen from the test data that the current waveform on the LV side of the transformer is seriously distorted, and the power factor is about 0.74, which is relatively low.

    It can be seen that the current waveform at the low voltage side of the transformer is basically normal after treatment, and the power factor reaches 0.99. The effect is obvious.
